Quality Web Hosting. Can You Still Find Good Hosts?

The discussion about overselling in shared hosting finished and all those who said overselling is a bad thing lost.

Yahoo announced “unlimited hosting” a move which will force many other shared hosting providers to follow their service model. Obviously everyone is satified of overselling and “unlimited service”. Web hosts which offer a service like this sell more, while consumers either don’t use what they are offered or feel confortable with the word “unlimited”.

All this brings on the table the debate about “quality web hosting” – a service model focused on service quality and service environment, not on the quantity. To distinguish overselling hosts from quality ones I will post names of a few quality web hosts I have experience with. You’ll not see me to publish links to overselling hosts because they would benefit from these.

Quality Web Hosts

HostMySite – Among industry leaders. Sponsor of many hosting events. Nothing more to say! They are just good!

Host Color – Quality middle sized web hosting company. Their advantage is that they customize software environment and offer choise between hosting in American and European data centers.

ApolloHosting – a Pretty big web host, good for shared hosting, ecommerce and VPS hosting.

Those a only 3 of many companies I would recommend to anyone who needs reliable shared hosting provider. I can add more web hosts to the list but let’s keep it short. 3 is always a good number. It gives choise and don;t makes it difficult to choose.
